Audrey Foldoe, Broker of Meyeres Real Estate in Fairbanks was the chosen recipient of the 2000 REALTOR of the Year by the Alaska Association of REALTORS.
This distinguished award is given annually to the individual who has displayed a strong sense of REALTOR spirit, high principles, ethics and good real estate practices;
involvement in civic activities, leadership qualities with local, state and national association of REALTORS and strong business accomplishments.
Audrey has served the Greater Fairbanks Board of REALTORS for twenty-four years. During that time she has held the offices of Treasurer, Director, Vice President, President Elect and President.
She currently serves on the MLS Committee, Forms Committee and Brokers Committee for the Fairbanks Board.
For Alaska Association of REALTORS, Audrey has served as a Director, as a member of both the Legislative and Nominating Committees. She was also involved in the review and rewrite of the Alaska Licensing exam.
Currently Audrey is an RPAC Trustee for the Association.
Audrey has served on the Fairbanks North Star Borough Planning Commission for thirteen years and the Board of Equalization for four years. She has also served as a Board member for the Energy Rated Homes of Alaska (1990 - 1996);
and a Committee member for Fairbanks Neighborhood Housing services (1991 - 1992). Currently Audrey serves as a Commissioner for the Alaska Real Estate Commission, a position she has held since 1994.
